Zimbabwe cricketer Ryan Burl posted on Twitter on Sunday that he has signed a sponsorship agreement with Puma.
"I am so proud to announce that I'll be joining the @pumacricket team. This is all due to the help and support from the fans over the last 24 hours. I couldn't be more grateful to you all. Thanks so much @PUMA," Burl tweeted.

"I can't wait to join the @pumacricket team! Thanks so much for reaching out," said Burl.
Earlier, Ryan tweeted an emotional plea for sponsors as he uploaded a pic of his sneakers. Burl said he has to glue a pair of shoes after every series due to lack of funds.
Zimbabwe was granted ODI status before the 1983 World Cup and Test status in 1992, has been struggling in international cricket for a long time.
Due to government influence, the ICC suspended the country's cricket body in 2019 and disqualified them from playing in the T20 World Cup Qualifiers later that year. However, Zimbabwe was eventually restored.
