Bangladesh have missed at least 10 catches in ODI and T20 series in New Zealand. In addition to missing the catch, several missed fieldings have been observed. Like New Zealand, the practice of catch miss continued in the Test series against Sri Lanka.
However, Afif Hossain said that an extra fielding session is being held after the practice to improve the fielding. The young star does not want to make that mistake in the Sri Lanka series at home.

"Overall, the fielding as a team in New Zealand has not been very good. But we are taking our practice well. We have fielding sessions at the end of each day's practice. So I am trying to learn something good there, so that these mistakes do not happen in the match” said Afif.
Bangladesh has started practice from May 2 ahead of the one-day series against Sri Lanka at home. The cricketers from the Sri Lanka Test series are yet to join the team as the cricketers in the country are preparing. The young all-rounder taking the long time practice session positively before the series.
“Being able to practice for such a long time before a series is definitely a positive aspect. Of course it was needed for us. These practice sessions are very helpful before the series” he added.
