Rangpur Division’s Nasir Hossain shined on his return to cricket after a long break, despite all the controversies in his personal life none could affect his performance. Rangpur Division played against Dhaka Division in BKSP. Sylhet Division faced Khulna Division at the Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.

Dhaka Division V Rangpur Division

In reply to Dhaka's 365 in the first innings, Rangpur scored 194 for seven wickets with Nasir Hossain's unbeaten 93 off 165 balls with 11 fours and 2 sixes. The batsman is 7 runs away from the century. Nasir-Mahmudul Hasan Limon emerged as the savior of the team which lost 5 wickets while scoring 41 runs. However, Limon was dismissed for 27 off 78 balls. At the end of the second day, Rangpur collected 194 for 7 in 61 trail by 171 runs.

Nazmul Islam Apu was the most successful bowler in Dhaka as he took 3 wickets for 69 runs. Besides, Sumon Islam took two wickets and Arafat Islam and Shuvagoto Hom took one wicket each.

Khulna Division Vs Sylhet Division

In another Tier-1 match at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna, Sylhet Division collected 130 for 7 wickets at the end of the second day. The highest 37 runs came from Imtiaz Hossain's bat. Besides, Enamul Haque Jr. was unbeaten on 30 runs. On the morning of the third day, Sylhet will continue trailing by 245 runs.

Khulna's Masum Khan Tutul took 4 wickets. Besides, Minhaj Rahman and Moinul Islam took two wickets each.

The host Khulna started the second day with 308 runs for 7 wickets against Sylhet. 67 more runs were added to the scoreboard that day. Imrul and Tushar missed a century on day 1. On Tuesday, Nahidul missed a half-century for two runs. Sylhet's two fast bowlers Abu Zayed Rahi and Ebadot Hossain took 3 wickets each.
