BCB boss to sit with three seniors today

The Bangladesh team is set to tour New Zealand for three ODIs and three T20 in March. The squad for the upcoming tour will be announced on February 17. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan Papon would sit in a meeting with the three senior cricketers before announcing the squad.
He told Cricfrenzy that the New Zealand series squad will be announced after the meeting with the seniors.
"I will be in talks with the senior cricketers, as Shakib is not available in this series. I will talk to the rest. '
ODI captain Tamim Iqbal, wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad are expected to attend the meeting on Wednesday evening.
The BCB president will also talk to the cricketers about the reasons for the team's downfall in the concluded Test series against the West Indies. He will also want to know about their plans for the New Zealand tour.
Before leaving for New Zealand, the Bangladesh cricketers will be vaccinated against Covid-19 on February 18. However, this vaccine is not mandatory for national team cricketers.
Bangladesh will leave for New Zealand on February 28.
