New Zealand set to come in Bangladesh before the ICC T20 World Cup later this year along with Australia and England. According to the ICC's future tour schedule, England will visit Bangladesh in October to play three ODIs and T20 series. Australia and England may tour in close time, so there may be a tri-nation T20 series with Bangladesh with these two countries.

Before this series, Bangladesh will play a series against New Zealand at home. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury confirmed the matter to the media on Wednesday.

“We are actually working. No decision has been made yet. So far, Australia, England and New Zealand will tour Bangladesh before the T20 World Cup. That's how we have a plan, so far no final decision has been made on organizing a tri-national series.” said Nizamuddin.

Australia and New Zealand were scheduled to come to Bangladesh last year to play two Tests under ICC Test Championship. Both series were postponed due to Covid-19 outburst. Cricket Australia then announced that they would play a short format series in Bangladesh before the T20 World Cup.

Earlier, BCB confirmed Bangladesh will go to New Zealand for three ODIs and equal number of T20I on March.
