Bangladesh pace bowler Mohammad Saifuddin and leg-spin all-rounder Aminul Islam Biplob were found in red zone, according to the newly-launched Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) COVID-19 well-being app.
BCB Management Information System (MIS) Manager Nasir Ahmed Nashu gave an idea about the app after the coronavirus is spreading rapidly in Bangladesh the virus that crossed 1,22,000 people.
Saifuddin has been suffering from fever for the last two days and could not get any taste for food while Biplob’s asthma problem was identified. Biplob also gave the same answer but he was found negative for the coronavirus.
“As of now, we found two cricketers-Aminul Islam Biplob and Mohammad Saifuddin in red zone. When Biplob was giving the answer of the questions in the app, it showed red. He has breathing problems and later it’s known that he has had asthma problems for a long time,” Nasir Ahmed Nasu said.
“Biplob has done his COVID-19 test but found negative. Saifuddin, on the other hand, has been suffering from fever and had no taste for food. The app is mobile-based where the players would have to log into the app and would then give answers for 18 questions. Their answer will be stored in our central server, from where we can monitor their physical conditions,” Nasu told Cricfrenzy.com.
“The feedback from players will be analysed by the app and listed under the red, the orange and the green categories in line with the risk assessment. Since then, access to training will be determined accordingly. Designated officials of the BCB will receive an immediate notification via SMS whenever there is a red outcome,” he concluded.a
