BCB handed over one-time monetary support to the non-contracted players

Bangladesh Cricket Board handed over one-time monetary support to the non-contracted players playing in Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League [DPL], through their clubs' authority.
The DPL got closed down after one round, due to the coronavirus. For this reason, cricketers suffered financial loss. Which is why BCB President Nazmul Hassan Papon announced to give one-time monetary assistance to the 96 premier league cricketers who are out of central contracts.
The board president said he would donate BDT 30,000 to the Premier League cricketers who are out of BCB's contract. On March 28.
On 15 March, the matches of Premier League started. Because of the 100 year birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, this year's premier league got renamed from Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League to Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL). But the outbreak of coronavirus, causes the postponement of the tournament.
