First class players are donating their half month salary in CWABs fund

Bangladesh's first-class cricketers came forward to fight the coronavirus after national cricketers. They are providing financial support to the Cricketers Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) fund.
91 cricketers in the contract of first class cricket are donating their half of the salary CWAB fund. CWABs general secretary and former cricketer Debabrata Barua Paul said that although the final calculation is still not made but considering the preliminary calculation, they think the figure will be between eight to ten lac BDT,
The salary of first class cricketers get in the three grade A,B and C where they receive a monthly salary of Tk 28,750, Tk 25,000 and Tk 17,250.
Earlier 27 cricketers from the central contract have raised a fund about BDT 30 lac with their half a month's salary to support the underprivileged people who are suffering due to the conronavirus.
CWAB, announced on Wednesday through a press release that a committee has been formed with all present and former cricketers and all cricket organizers to open a fund and help the people who are suffering the most because of the coronavirus.
BCB President Nazmul Hassan Papon, has been decided to be the chief advisor of the committee. BCB Director and CWAB president Naimur Rahman Durjoy has been named as the convenor of the committee. Khaled Mahmud Sujan, Tamim Iqbal and Mominul Haque are the joint conveners.
