BCB keen to develop awareness to tackle coronavirus pandemic
Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan said on Thursday that they decided to launch an awareness program for the cricketers so that they are well prepared to handle the coronavirus pandemic.
BCB on Thursday postponed all kind of cricketing activities under their jurisdiction for indefinite period due to present crisis prevailing across the globe.
Nazmul added that he is looking forward to make sure that every cricketer are well informed about the coronavirus and take required steps to avoid from any kind of mishap.
‘’As situation is changing gradually so we have decided to get aware first and so we are taking steps to fulfill that goal. When the matches of DPL starts what I know every clubs and players were given some cautionary instruction and those instruction were briefed very clearly to them, now we will give them that kind of briefing again,’’ said Nazmul.
‘’Like try to be at home, less contact with other people, not saying to be lock-down though it would have been good for them but they have to be careful,’’ he said.
‘’Right now the situation is different and everyone is tensed and I also feel afraid,’’ he said.
‘’You don't have to be afraid, I'm not saying anything to be afraid but you have to be careful so that you can be out of danger,’’ he said.
‘’For everyone I have only one words not only for players that don't take it lightly. So we have to be aware and try not get out from your house,’’ he said.
‘’This message that apart from emergency work they should not go out of their house is not only for the players but also for the others stakeholders in BCB.
