Asia XI and World XI match postponed

Bangladesh Cricket Board announced on Wednesday that they have decided to postpone the two international T20 matches between Asia XI and World XI for the time being in light of the current coronavirus outbreak.


BCB was expected to two T20I’s to mark the birth centenary of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with hosting a concert of AR Rahman on March 18.

‘’We have postponed those two matches for the time being,’’ BCB president Nazmul Hasan told reporters at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Wednesday.


Bangladesh has postponed all of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's birth centenary celebrations of March 17, March 25 and March 26 have been postponed until further notice.


 



BCB announced on Wednesday that they have decided to postpone the two international T20 matches between Asia XI and World XI that they were scheduled to host as part of the celebration along with AR Rahman concert that was scheduled on March 18.
