Bangladesh named a 15-man squad for their upcoming three-match Twenty20 international series against Pakistan on Saturday.
Opener Tamim Iqbal also returned to the squad after he opted to skip Bangladesh's home series against Afghanistan and Zimbabwe and the following India tour.
Another opening batsman Nazmul Hossain, all-rounder Mahadi Hasan and pacer Rubel Hossain were named in the squad after they did well in the recently-concluded Bangladesh Premier League.
The selectors had to leave Mushfiqur Rahim out after he made a request not to be part of the tour while they also dropped Mosaddek Hossain, Arafat Sunny, Taijul Islam and Abu Hider, who were part of Bangladesh's Twenty20 squad in India.
Bangladesh will leave for Pakistan on January 22 and before that, they will take part in three-day training camp starting from Sunday in Mirpur.
Bangladesh will take on host Pakistan on January 24 in the first match before they play the next two matches on January 25 and 27 respectively at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
