Cumilla Warriors coach Ottis Gibson said on Friday that they paid the price of dropping Mushfiqur Rahim during their last game against Khulna Tigers in the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Friday.
Mushfiqur Rahim blasted a 57 ball-98 not out as Khulna Tigers clinched a whopping 92-run win over Cumilla Warriors to seal a place in the play-off in Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League.

Cumilla who could have stayed alive in case of a victory is now eliminated from the race completely and finished as fifth team with 10 points from 12 games.
If you take to night for instance we drop a crucial catches like Mushfiqur got dropped at 4or 5 runs and he made 90 something and if we could grab that opportunity it could have changed the game,’’ said Gibson adding that their bowlers failed to execute their plans during the last five overs of the game.
‘’Ultimately when you analyze the game we bowled well till 15 over but in the last five we gave away 90 runs,’’ he said.
‘’Our bowlers do not have the experience to bowl at the back end and they are not clear about their plans but it’s all a learning curve for them,’’ he said adding that he expected better output from seasoned campaigner Al Amin Hossain and Abu Hider Rony.
‘’The likes of Al Amin who has played a lot of cricket you expect better from him and from Abu Hider Rony as well,’’ he said.
