Dhaka Platoon head coach Mohammad Salahuddin said on Tuesday that he is not thinking too far ahead as they are yet to confirm a place in the last four in the ongoing Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League.
Dhaka’s equation is quite simple as they need just one win in their remaining three matches but they would be aiming for more wins to finish on top-two and get a safety net in the knock-out phase.

‘’I am still not thinking about top two. Now it is more important for us to go into top fours. We need two more points that might ensure us top-four. Then we will see whether we can reach top-two. But the next match is really important for us,’’ Salahuddin told reporters on Tuesday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday.

‘’I don’t know the current situation, though I think Rangpur’s run rate is not so high. But still I would say that many things could happen. Still we have there are many matches left, crucial games. We will see what will be coming next. But I think the next match is really important. And if you lose the momentum in T20 tournament, then it is difficult to come back. But I think every match is really important. The next game is really crucial and I hope the players keep their confidence high. We might lose or win, but players need to confident,’’ he said.

‘’I think the fixture could be much improved. We have played three matches in first three days. It becomes so tough for the players. These matches have so much pressure in it. If the players would get rest, then it would be much better. We will also have to play three matches in four days at the end. So the fixture could be much improved,’’ he said.
Platoon will take on Rangpur Rangers in their first game of Dhaka-phase.
