Shehzad confident of making it his BPL

Former Pakistani opener Ahmed Shehzad said that he confident to do well for Dhaka Platoon in the ongoing Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League as he is comfortable in the dressing courtesy being familiar with the players and the coaching staff.
Shehzad played under Mohammad Salahuddin in the BPL for Cumilla Victorians while he also had the opportunity to play with Tamim Iqbal and Mashrafee bin Murtaza in the earlier edition of the BPL.

‘’I am really excited. Unfortunately for last two years I could not came here. So I am here and I am happy. I am happier because I have my favourite coach Salahuddin. I enjoy playing under him. It is my second time I am playing under him. First time I lift the trophy for Cumilla Victorians. And we are looking forward to do the same here,’’ Shehzad told reporters at the Sylhet on Thursday.
‘’Tamim Iqbal, another very stylish opener batsman, I personally like the way he plays., in left handers. Mashrafe Mortaza, we are all very familiar,’’ he said adding that he is amazed to see the contribution of Mashrafee in country’s cricket.
‘’What he has done to the Bangladeshi cricket, he has led the side beautifully from quite a while now. And he is the commitment to the game, he is a motivational aspect to the youngsters as well. so I just came yesterday, it was my training sessions. I really enjoy every bit of it,’’ he said.
