Jos Buttler and skipper Eoin Morgan tons put England to score the highest total of 418 for 6 in West Indies on Wednesday. It is the highest total of any team in West Indies against the hosts and the third highest score for England.

Previously, India scored 418 for 5 against West Indies in Indore on 2011.  However, England made another record of the most number of Sixes, 24, in an ODI inning during this ongoing fourth ODI in Grenada. Earlier, the hosts hit the most ODI sixes in an inning, 23, in the first ODI of this ongoing series against England.

Among these sixes, Jos Butler solely hit 12 sixes and 13 fours which is the highest number of sixes and fours by any English batters. However, after winning the toss the hosts invited the visitors to bat first. The two openers Jonny Bairstow and Alex Hales gave England a solid start, added 100-run in the opening-stand within 13.5 overs.  Bairstow scored 56 off 43 while Hales knocked 82 off 73.

After Bairstow's departure, the Caribbeans got the quick success as Oshane Thomas dismissed Joe Root for 5. But Hales was still on the crease and continued his domination, added more 45 runs along with Eoin Morgan in the third-stand before his departure by Ashley Nurse.

But the main show began after this, Morgan along with Jos Buttler added 204 in the fourth wicket-stand. Morgan, who passed 6000-run-mark in ODI, hit 103 for 88 including 8 fours and 6 sixes while Buttler smashed 150 off 77. The duo led England to the massive score before departure of Morgan. But, Buttler carried on this scoring and put his side to 417 before bowled out by Carlos Brathwaite. England set a target of 419 for the hosts. Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali was not out for 11 and 0 respectively. Brathwaite and Thomas picked up two wickets each. West Indies yet to bat.
