Comilla Victorians pacer Mustafizur Rahman, who sustained a head injury amid the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), has been given the green signal by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to participate in the tournament's final. However, his availability for the match depends on the decision of the franchise.

BCB physician Debashish Chowdhury told Cricfrenzy that the cutter master can play the final match if the franchise wants to include him.

"Mustafiz has no issue with taking part in the final match. He is now fully fit. We have given clearance considering everything. The decision now rests on Comilla Victorians, if they want to have him in the final match," said Debashish.

Mustafiz was struck on the head during a net session of Comilla Victorians at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram before the play-offs.

The premier pacer had blood spilling from his head and later had five stitches at the back of Mustfiz's head.

Mustafiz missed the qualifier-1 for Comilla where they defeated Rangpur Rider to move to the final.

Earlier, skipper Litton Das said that the side is hopeful for Mustfiz's comeback after the match against Rangpur and stated that the pacer will return to practice before the final. 'Hopefully, I think he will practice tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Pray that he can play in the final,"
