Bangladesh spin-bowling coach Rangana Herath believes that the team's preparations in Dubai will the most effective for the upcoming World Cup.

Bangladesh are set to play two T20Is against the UAE as a preparation for the tri-series in New Zealand and the T20 World Cup in Australia.

"One of the best facilities we have had and we also had the same facility during the Asia Cup. As far as team unity is concerned, this is the best preparation,"

T20 captain Shakib al Hasan is not with the side for CPL, however, the coach said the rest of the squad will pull together as a unit in these sessions.

"I know unfortunately Shakib is not here but the other guys will get opportunity to play good cricket. UAE are playing good cricket at the moment so this is going to be a good series and good preparation leading up to the World Cup,"  Herath said.

Bangladesh could manage only one training session at Dhaka due to continuous rain. The UAE tour will help the players regather as a unit.

"In this camp we need proper practice with our team just ahead of a World Cup. It is very important to have training sessions as a team and I'm sure the guys will get a lot of good practice on these surfaces under lights," he added.

The Tigers will return to the country on September 28th before they leave for New Zealand and T20 World Cup campaign.
