Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo was disappointed with the batters and said that West Indies has shown why they are a better team.

West Indies were slumped to 132-4, however, centurion Kyle Mayers and Jermaine Blackwood responded with a dominating 116-run fifth-wicket stand.

"Not good enough. Some serious questions with both the bat and the ball at the moment," said Domingo in the press conference.

"It's not a 250 all out wicket. If it weren't for a 30-run partnership at the end, we will be 190 all out. Just not good enough in terms of putting together performances with the bat. West Indies are showing us why they are better than us in this format at the moment," he said.

Domingo said that the Bangladesh batters should learn from the West Indies batters and hailed Mayers, who has scored two centuries in as many series.

"There's a lot of players searching for form, searching for runs. The only way to get through it is to bat for long periods of time. Lot of 30s and 40s, the odd 50. Nobody is doing what Kyle Mayers is doing,"

"His big 126 is the difference between getting 230 and 400. They chased down 400 against us in Chattogram. He got a 200. But we are not getting those big scores. It is a big lesson for the boys. Test match is hard. When you are not batting as well, teams will punish you," he added.

Domingo further said that inconsistency with the ball has been the main reason to lost control of their game on the second day.

"It's the story of our Test match cricket at the moment. We are good for one session and then we have one really bad session,"

"I think the guys are being impatient. They are not being able to string together enough tight overs in succession and create pressure consistently as we did in the first session. We were able to bowl fantastically in the first session but were not able to sustain it," he added.
