Bangladesh pacer Ebadot Hossain remarked that his side is well motivated and eyeing to win the first away Test against New Zealand.

Ebadot was the pick of the bowling attack as he took his four-wicket haul which reduced the hosts to 147-5 at the end of Day 4.

Ebadot began with the prized wicket of Devon Conway, then went on to collect three more wickets for no run in the space of seven balls against the Kiwis during the third session.

"We are trying. Our teammates and support staff gave us a lot of support. We didn't do well in the past in New Zealand. But this team wants to represent our country in a positive way and do something good like making a winning start. We are trying to start with an away win,” Ebadot said in a video message.

The right-arm pacer said they are still learning to adapt to home and away conditions. He also said they would try their best to clinch their first victory.

“We are trying to learn how to prize out wickets in those conditions. In away conditions, wickets assist seam bowlers for first two hours. So we are still learning how to adapt to home and away conditions. We are also learning how to make the old ball to reverse. We are still learning these crafts. We will try our best to register a victory tomorrow," he added.
