Harbhajan announces retirement from all forms of cricket

Veteran Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. The 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup winner released a statement on his social media account on Friday.
"All good things come to an end and today as I bid adieu to the game that has given me everything in life, I would like to thank everyone who made this 23-year-long journey beautiful and memorable. My heartfelt thank you. Grateful," he tweeted.
The legendary off-spinner last played for his country in 2016, against UAE in the T20 World Cup. However, he was constantly part of the Indian Premier League and played for Kolkata Knight Riders last season.
Harbhajan appeared in 103 Tests, 236 ODIs and 28 T20Is for India. Harbhajan continued to play the IPL for Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and more recently the Kolkata Knight Riders.
The 41-year old was also a handy contributor with the bat, scoring 3569 runs with two centuries and nine fifties.
The IPL 2021 turned out to be his last season in the IPL, where he had a very limited role, playing only three matches and going wicketless.
