DPDLT20: Joy’s fighting knock in vain as Gazi seal victory against Old DOHS

Mahmudul Hasan Joy's unbeaten 85-run great innings has gone in vain as the right-handed batsman brought the fighting total for the team by playing an great knock on the day of the failure of the other Old DOHS batsmen. However, the bowlers of Old DOHS could not take much advantage and the Gazi Group cricketers chased down the target of 138 runs and won by 6 wickets.
Soumya Sarkar and Sheikh Mahedi Hasan, the two openers of Gazi Group, made a good start to chase down the target. However, Mahedi could not settle down as he was batting aggressively. With the help of four fours and a six, the right-handed batsman played a stormy innings of 22 runs off just 10 balls.
Then Mominul Haque gave Soumya great company as 65 runs came from the pair of these two. When Mominul returned with 27 runs off 34 balls with the help of three fours, the partnership broke up.
