Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman is out of the field due to fear of calf injury but Tamim Iqbal confirmed at a press conference after the second ODI against New Zealand that he is currently fine.
Despite scoring 271 runs in the second ODI, Bangladesh lost the match due to the sloppy fielding display. Mustafiz took 2 wickets with the ball. The left-arm pacer returned Martin Guptill and James Neesham.
ODI captain Tamim said Mustafiz is healthy and he expects to play in the third and final ODI.
“Mustafiz’s calf muscle was little strained. That's why he got up from the field. I met him later and talked to him. He is fine, I think he will play in the third match” said Tamim
While bowling in the last part of the match, Mustafiz got the injury alert. He was doing his ninth over at that time. He had to leave the field due to this injury in the middle of the over.
