As India secured a convincing win against England, one of the closest friends of the Indian captain, AB de Villiers has praised him for his superb leadership skills. It is already known that Kohli and AB de Villiers shares a great bond. Both know each other quite well and they both are key players of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as well.

'Kohli's leadership this test match allowed young guns like Axar, Rishabh and Washie to play with freedom and dominate the game. It takes a special leader to elevate other players around them through body language and passion when their personal performance has been down,' De Villiers shared on Twitter.

On Saturday, Team India secured their 13th consecutive Test series win at home as they beat England 3-1 in the four-match Test series in Ahmedabad. However, India's winning streak started with a 4-0 mauling of Australia way back in 2013. In these eight years, India have successfully beaten eight countries, except Pakistan. India have registered two wins each over Australia and England since 2013.

However, India last faced a defeat at home in 2012-13 against England who beat the hosts 2-1. But India, later on, defeat them with a 4-0 margin in the five-match series in 2016-17. The 13 home series wins also include two one-off Test matches against Afghanistan and Bangladesh as well.

Meanwhile, Australia is the second team on the list with the most consecutive home series victories. They won 10 consecutive home series on two occasions as well – first from 1994 to 2001 and then from 2004 to 2008. New Zealand, on the other hand, have an unbeaten streak of eight consecutive series wins at home which started in 2017. And, they will play against India in the inaugural World Test Championship final in June as well.
