Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan Papon is happy with the performance of Shakib-Tamim and Miraz. This trio helped Bangladesh win two matches in a row against West Indies at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur .

Speaking to the media, Papon said, "If you ask me about the performance, Shakib, Miraz, they are doing well. I am satisfied with the bowling and fielding. In batting too, Tamim has returned to a consistency. We were very worried about Shakib for how long it would take to get his form back but he returned very soon.”

Despite returning to international cricket after a long absence, Bangladesh cricketers are all in good form. That is why cricketers have to fight a lot to get a place in the squad. He said that in the past, if someone got injured, they would have had to rush to get an alternative, but now the captains and selectors are in a dilemma as to who to take.

‘We are a good team now. Earlier, I was worried about who would play the replacement if a player got injured. Believe me, now the selectors, coaches, captains will think about who will be left out. It's good for our future. "He said.

BCB boss is also in favor of changing the XI. However, he does not want a change that will affect the momentum of the team. The series is included in the ODI super league so 10 points will be collected for every match in the league. On the other hand, if you lose, you have to return empty handed.

"There may be a change in the squad but I don't want to bring any change as there is no reason to underestimate anyone. One thing to keep in mind is that we started the ODI Championship with this tour. As we won two matches we got 20 points. So the last match is very important.”

It's more important because the series ahead is outside with stronger countries. We almost won against everyone in home starting from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa but we did not do well in their soil. We have won only two series. With that in mind, we should take every game very seriously and we must win. '

After returning to ODI Shakib took 4 wickets for only 8 runs in the first match. After that he took 2 wickets in the second match and scored unbeaten 43 runs. Tamim has scored consecutive runs in both the matches and Miraz has taken 4 wickets for 25 runs in the second match which is his best overall in white ball cricket. The BCB president is quite happy with the performance and appreciated the fielders along with the batsmen and bowlers.
