Bangladesh left-arm spinner Taijul Islam said that though he is doing well in the Bangabandhu T20 he is yet to settle with his new action.

With a view to fulfilling the desire to play all formats, the slow left-arm bowler has been working hard and has already changed his bowling action completely. Besides, he has been working on a new special delivery.

Daniel Vettori, Bangladesh's spin bowling consultant, suggested that Taijul should change the action in order to play all formats. The new action completely resembles the action of Daniel Vettori himself. Taijul desires to succeed more with this remodeled action.

However, with the new action he was not totally comfortable and so worked on it with his mentor Sohel Islam after failing to get the desired result in the BCB President’s Cup.

‘’Actually, doing something new takes time. Since I am starting now, I believe I don’t feel any problem but still I didn’t settle. However, it didn’t go too bad either as I feel variation in pace and others are easy,’’ Taijul told reporters on the Sunday.

Taijul also credited Mohammad Salahuddin for Gazi Group Chattogram’s performance in the Bangabandhu who had knocked down both their opponent inside 100 runs.

‘’Salauddin sir is an experienced coach and he has already worked on several places. His guidance is definitely helping us. Alongside his guidance, our plans are there too which has been working well on the field as well,’’ he said.
