PCB to issue 'legal action' against fan after altercation with Haris Rauf

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi has stated to take legal action against the fan who got in an altercation with the pacer Haris Rauf.
The video of the incident went viral on social media, showing Rauf confronting the fan who said something to provoke him. Naqvi took to social media to condemn the incident and suggested that the 'fan' involved apologise to Rauf or face legal action.
“Strongly condemn the appalling incident involving Haris Rauf. Such actions against our players are completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi released a statement on Twitter.
“Those who are involved must immediately apologise to Haris Rauf, failing which we will pursue legal action against the individual responsible,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, Haris also released a statement on Twitter, suggesting that the incident was caused by an insult towards his family.
“I decided not to bring this on social media, but now that the video is out, I feel it is necessary to address the situation,” Rauf wrote.
“As public figures, we are open to receiving all kinds of feedback from the public. They are entitled to support or criticise us. Nevertheless, when it comes to my parent and my family, I will not hesitate to respond accordingly,”
“It is important to show respect towards people and their families, irrespective of their professions,” he added.
