The Pakistan cricket team will tour New Zealand to play a white-ball series consisting of three ODIs and five T20Is following the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan.

The decision was made in a meeting between PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and New Zealand Cricket CEO Scott Weenink at PCB headquarters, Gaddafi Stadium, on Thursday.

PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi stated that thorough arrangements will be made for the New Zealand team.

“Looking after New Zealand team is our responsibility. The team is very close to our hearts and I am myself monitoring the whole arrangements as well as the security arrangements for the tour,” Naqvi said.

CEO NZC Weenink thanked Chairman PCB for the warm welcome, adding that fool-proof security arrangements have been made for the visiting New Zealand team in Rawalpindi and Lahore during the current tour.

“I am very happy with the arrangements at both these places,” said Weenink.

NZC CEO also assured that New Zealand team would visit Pakistan for the tri-nation series prior to the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy.
