Ahead of the draft, several Bangladesh players had already secured direct contracts. Shakib Al Hasan and Taskin Ahmed were signed by Jaffna Kings, while Litton Das joined Galle Gladiators.
Bangladesh fast bowler Hasan Mahmud was picked by Colombo Caps. Shortly afterwards, Galle Gladiators added Bangladesh ODI captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz to their squad.
Miraz will now join fellow Bangladesh international Litton at Galle Gladiators as the franchise continues to strengthen its roster for the upcoming LPL season.
